Wood Kitchens
A natural wood kitchen tends to be warm and easy to live with. It is more often less formal than a similar painted kitchen. Lighter wood tones are more popular at the moment. They are usually a little easier to blend into larger open spaces such as adjacent family rooms. A natural wood kitchen can be very successful if it suits the general architectural intention and is particularly well-suited for lake, ocean, and mountain environments. In many cases we use recovered lumber from virgin trees to achieve results that are genuine and evocative of the past.
